The number of seconds Ethan Haynes shaved off his previous best time in the 3,200 meter run at the Republic Classic this week. Haynes had finished the race in 10:32.17 at last season’s district meet. He ran the same distance in 9:57.80 at Republic Monday.

The number of shots taken by Republic during a 1-0 loss on OT penalty kicks against Rogersville. Republic dominated the game in every way except on the scoreboard. Goalkeeper Graci Coleman needed to make only five saves all night, but Republic failed to score, although video later showed one of the shots had crossed the goal line before ricocheting off a metal brace and caroming back out.
