Karissa Metzger won both her individual races at the Ozarks Invitational Saturday. Metzger was seeded second in the 200-yard individual medley, but she cut nearly 1.5 seconds off her time to win the race, finishing more than two seconds ahead of the second-place finisher with a time of 2:18.62.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Metzger was the top seed and made it hold up. She finished in 1:10.30, improving her season best by 1.85 seconds.
Lena Mais was the only other top-20 finisher in an individual event for Republic. She finished 19th in the 500-yard freestyle.
