Republic won both its games at the Springfield Invitational Friday, including an 8-7 win over Bolivar in which the Lady Tigers overcame a 6-0 deficit. EmmaLee Essary and Ella Tattershall both homered in that one.
Republic followed that up with a 7-0 win against Eldon.
Update: Saturday’s games were rained out.
