Karissa Metzger won another gold for the Lady Tigers’ swim team Saturday at the Springfield Invite, winning the 100 Yard Breaststroke in a field of 49 swimmers with a time of 1:10.37. Metzger also finished second in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:02.54, where she was bested by Anna McCune of New Covenant Academy by just seven one-hundredths of a second. Metzger’s time in the 200 free was a school record, breaking her own mark of 2:04.16, set last year.
