Three Republic wrestlers finished among the top three at the Republic Invitational, led by Wyatt George, the champion of the 113-pound weight class. George pinned Rylan Lashley of Springfield Central to win the title. (Scroll down for photos.)
Two other Tigers finished third in their divisions. Logan Parker knocked off Baron Harper of Rogersville in the 106-pound division to take third place. Andre Northrup was third at 138, defeating Dylan Billingsley of Ozark in the third-place match.
Camdenton won the tournament championship by a wide margin, scoring 255 team points. Ozark was second with 177.5, just edging Rogersville, which finished with 174 points. Republic finished sixth in the 11-team field.
