Miha Nambara ran well all season, but she proved she belonged among the state’s elite runners with her performance at the state meet this weekend. Nambara finished 21st in the Class 5 state cross country meet in Columbia. That was good enough to earn her a medal and all-state recognition. Her time of 19:23.70 was near her best ever, just four seconds off the pace she set at the COC championships in Nixa two weeks ago.
