The Lady Tigers lost a tough match to Springfield Central, 5-4. In the #2 doubles match, Republic was leading 4-1 when an injury to Sedalia Shumaker forced the Lady Tigers to default. The match still came down to a tiebreaker in the final singles match of the night, which Central won to take the decision.
