Republic swimmer Seth Lock already held school records in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly. Now he’ll have to work even harder to break them again.
Lock broke both marks during Republic’s weekend meet. He finished the 50 yard freestyle in 24.68, beating his old record of 24.91. He also finished the 100 yard butterfly in 1:05.94, crushing the old mark by about four seconds.
The Tigers are back in the pool again tonight.
