Two Republic golfers shot career highs and both came home with medals Thursday in their first tournament of the fall season. Both Clara Fronabarger and Regan Holmes beat their previous personal best scores by five strokes at the Seymour Tournament in Marshfield.
Fronabarger’s 79 earned her seventh place overall. Holmes finished 11th with a score of 87.
Lena Mais, Taygan Rogers, and Riley Gipson also competed for Republic, which finished with a team score of 427.
