Republic Businesses Adjust to Outbreak

See full archive of coronavirus information.

Sign up for the new REPMO Digest, an email collection of links and articles with a Republic focus, delivered 2-4 times per week.

Update: 3/24 4:00 pm
Greene County (in conjunction with the City of Springfield) has issued a “stay at home” order for residents except for what it considers “essential” businesses and tasks. The details are here.

As I become aware of changes or special procedures at local businesses, I will try my best to keep this listing updated. Business owners, please go here to submit relevant information.

Editor’s note: Please be patient as things are changing very quickly. Where appropriate, I have added links to business websites or Facebook pages, so you can follow those links for potentially more up-to-date information from a particular business.

Prior to that stage, it is our understanding that our 24′ conveyor oven is sufficient to kill the virus on our fabrics.

We have a Curbside Pickup Service available for anyone not wanting to use the Drive-Thru. You can use our app to text secure messages directly to a person in the pharmacy and get an immediate response. We have hospital grade disinfectant and shipments of hand sanitizers, rubbing alcohol, surgical masks and N95 masks coming in when available. Call for current stock and request to be notified upon arrival.

From the Facebook page: We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as wait times may be longer than usual due to the need for additional precautions. Also, we are preparing for possible interruptions in the drug supply chain over the next few weeks. To ensure that you do not run out of any of your medications, we will be synchronizing all your medications to be filled at the same time every month. By doing this, we can decrease the need for unnecessary additional trips to the store and reduce the number of deliveries made each week. This will also allow us an additional 7-10 days to source your medications in the event that a shortage occurs.

(In addition, the pharmacy has temporarily stopped accepting donations for People Helping People at the pharmacy.)
