Republic’s wrestlers competed at the Bolivar Duals Saturday in their first big tournament of the season. The format was a switch from the usual bracket tournament at Bolivar that has opened the season in the past. This year, the event unfolded as a series of dual matches between teams.
Jonathan O’Connell, Wyatt George, and Dominick Famiano went undefeated on the day. Gabe Hesington was 4-1. Freshman Connor Sandridge also picked up three wins.
