On September 21, we reported on the hot start of cross country runner Miha Nambara, who had won three medals in the first three races of the season. In the month or so since then, she hasn’t cooled off.
Saturday, Nambara continued her season-long hot streak during a cold and rainy district race in Nixa. Nambara ran the course in 20:47.70, finishing 12th and advancing to sectionals next week. She’ll take aim at a state appearance next weekend.
