Republic competed in two events in the Class 5 state track meet Saturday in Columbia. Jasmyn Douglas finished 11th in the 800m run. The 4x800m relay team of Delaney Smith, Jazzy Kirby, Jade Kirby, and Douglas finished 16th.
The Class 5 meet was moved to Columbia Battle High School after a tornado damaged Adkins Stadium in Jefferson City, the original site for the Class 3-5 state meet.
