Nearly 40 Republic students competed at the State Music Festival in Columbia on April 25. Seven of them brought home at least two gold medals.
Kira Allen and Ravin Peterson turned in the top performances among Republic students. Each of them earned gold in three different events. Five other students earned two gold medals. They’re Steven Brymer, Tristan Brown, Elisabeth Creech, Parker Woods, and Ariana Givens. Twenty-two others earned gold in one event.
Other gold medalists from Republic are Madylon McCrea, Emma Pearce, Elena Hunter, Braylea Ewing, Carli Allen, Noah Brous, Connor Brake, Christian Ellis, Malachi Gorman, Jared Doty, Noah Kellett, Andrea Dryden, Claire Summers, Phillip Lisun, Mackenzie Mansel, Rebecca Graham, Elizabeth Burns, Yoti Lambe, Emily Wills, Josiah Monthei, Tristin Phelps, and Luke Willis.
