There weren’t a lot of highs or a lot of lows for the Republic golf team at the central Ozark Conference Tournament in Carl Junction Monday. The Tigers turned in an uncannily steady performance at Briarbrook Golf Course, finishing with a team score of 351 to place fourth as a team. Four of the five Republic golfers finished within one stroke of each other.
Griffin Frey led the Tigers with an 87. Kendall Hamilton, Tyson Young, and Austin O’Hara all shot 88. Kolby Hosp finished with a 94.
Republic’s score of 351 was a 15-stroke improvement compared to their score on the same course a few weeks ago during their first tournament of the season.
