The Republic tennis team improved to 5-0 with a shutout win over Neosho at home Tuesday, 9-0. It’s the seventh consecutive win by Republic against the Wildcats, who last beat Republic in 2013.
The Tigers dominated the evening, winning every match without dropping more than four games in any of them. Three of the singles victories, by Will Berry, Kile Thornhill, and Ethan Ragsdale, were by the score of 8-1. Ragsdale and Lucas Hayes also won their doubles match by the same score.
The JV Tigers swept the evening, as well, winning all ten of their matches.
