After losing the first set to Webb City Thursday night, Republic nearly climbed out of the hole they were in before falling short in two sets, 25-18, 25-21. The Lady Tigers closed the gap to 23-21 in the second set before dropping two straight points to end their night.
Rylee Moseman and Emma Pearce each had five kills to lead Republic. Moseman had eight assists and Pearce added ten digs. Reese Watkins also had ten digs, and Carle Ward led the team with two blocks.
Republic falls to 4-16-3 overall. They’re 1-7 in the Central Ozark Conference.
