Webb City Pounds Tigers

Webb City scored three runs in each of the first two innings, then put the game away with an eight-run third, on the way to a 15-3 win at Republic Tuesday. The Cardinals racked up 16 hits, including a home run by Will Larson.

Jaden Duvall was 2-for-2 with a run scored for the Tigers, and Eason Prevo knocked in all three Republic runs. Webb City’s Tyler Martin struck out ten batters in five innings to pick up the win.

Tyler Cavener started for Republic and allowed six runs on six hits in two innings. Tim McWilliams pitched three innings in relief. He allowed nine runs — just four of them earned.

Republic falls to 4-8. The Tigers are at Branson Thursday.
