Carpenter, Jordan Tip Balance to Tigers

A comeback doubles win by Brett Carpenter and Isaac Jordan keyed another dual victory in a big non-conference showdown between two of the Ozarks’ best tennis programs. The Tigers edged Glendale at home, 5-4.

Carpenter and Jordan overcame a 6-5 deficit, winning three of the last four games against Drake Stephens and Mohammad A. Hassan to take an 8-6 win. That victory gave Republic a 2-1 lead at the end of doubles play, and ended up being the turning point of the night.
