The Lady Tigers and Glendale were close early, but Republic pulled away late in the second set to pick up a 2-0 win Tuesday night at Glendale, 25-23, 25-17.
Republic got six kills from Rylee Moseman to lead the attack. Reese Watkins and Carle Ward each contributed two service aces. Bella Drennan had 11 assists and Eryn Russell tallied ten digs.
The JV and freshman teams both won, 2-0.
Republic’s varsity improves to 4-4 overall. The Lady Tigers will return home Thursday to meet Mountain Grove.
