The Lady Tigers tennis team is still unbeaten. Republic knocked off Rogersville 6-3 at home Thursday to run its dual record to 3-0 this season.
Republic controlled the court at the top of the lineup, winning the #1 and #2 doubles matches, then winning the top three singles matches, as well.
Kaitlyn Snyder, Heather Georges, and Molly Womack all won twice—in singles and doubles.
“We had a good team effort,” says coach Eric Hanson. “The singles matches were very competitive, but the girls did a good job of winning close games.”
Rogersville’s JV squad won 18 of 23 matches.
