The Tiger tennis team continued the momentum from a Republic Tournament championship on the road at Carl Junction Monday. The Tigers beat the Bulldogs 7-2 in a Central Ozark Conference dual.
One of the highlights of the day was at the top of the lineup, where Case Birlew edged Benjiman Boyd in a tiebreaker, 9-8 (7-3). Dylan Mackey, Hunter Creek, Brett Carpenter, and Logan Elder also won their singles matches.
Republic won two of three doubles matches. Mackey and Carpenter teamed for an 8-2 win, and Elder and Austin Massey won their match 8-4.
