Republic knocked off another Central Ozark Conference opponent Thursday night at home, beating Carl Junction 7-2. All three doubles teams won their matches, setting up the overall victory. The only two losses of the night for Republic came at #1 singles and #5 singles.
“We had a better start tonight against a good Carl Junction team,” says coach Eric Hanson. “As a team, we played pretty good early, which was key for us, especially in doubles.”
The JV Lady Tigers won 20 of 25 matches.
Republic is now 6-1 overall, and 4-0 in the conference.
