The Lady Tigers tennis team honored its senior class, then went out and did what it’s been doing all year: win.
Republic had six seniors in its lineup on Senior Night Monday, walloping Clever 7-2 and picking up its tenth win of the season. The Lady Tigers’ 10-1 start is the best in school history.
Kaitlyn Snyder and Kaytlin Pearce started the night with a convincing 8-1 doubles win over a strong Clever team of Alyssa Fowkes and Brooke Buehler.
Republic will play Branson tomorrow. If the Lady Tigers win, they will win the COC Large regular-season title outright with an undefeated conference record.
