Two more dual opponents; two more wins. The Tiger tennis team continued to dominate its opposition Thursday, whipping both Neosho and Ozark for two more conference wins. That’s now 13 dual wins this season, smashing the old record of 11 set last year.
“Obviously, it means we have a strong team this year. We were hoping to at least match what we did last year, and we’ve gotten past that point,” says coach Dan Vales. “But our goal isn’t 12 wins. We’re trying to get to 15, 16 wins as a total. But we’re still really excited about getting to here.”
The Tigers defeated Neosho 9-0 in their first dual of the day. They beat Ozark 7-2.
