Tiger Whomp Webb City to Stay Unbeaten

Republic’s tennis team won its seventh meet in a row without a loss, beating up on Webb City 7-2 Friday. The Tigers again won all three doubles matches — and the varsity team still hasn’t lost a doubles match this season.

Michael Nacy, Brad Hendrix, Austin Massey, and Brett Carpenter were singles winners for the Tigers, who avenged a 7-2 loss to Webb City last season. The Cardinals are also in the same district as Republic.

The JV Tigers won as well, 4-1. They have five wins and no losses this year.

The Tigers will be at home Monday for another conference match against Branson.
