Boys Basketball
Tristan Ollar is a starting forward and has played basketball at Republic for two years. He has a 3.4 GPA and is a member of the A+ Program and Republic’s golf team. Tristan plans to attend Missouri State University and study business.
Alex Holden is a forward and has played basketball at Republic for one year. He has a 3.0 GPA and is a member of the A+ Program and Republic’s golf team. Alex plans to attend Missouri State University and study accounting.
Tyler Philips is a forward and has played basketball at Republic for three years. He is a member of DECA and plans to attend Missouri State University and study business.
Jared Green has been a team manager for the Tigers for two years. He has a 3.0 GPA and plans to join the Marines.
This group has led the Tigers to an 18-4 record. The Tigers will start district play on Tuesday, March 1 at Joplin High School.
Cheer
Kendal Baxter has cheered for Republic for one year and is currently attending OTC to study drafting and design. Kendal has a 3.4 GPA and is undecided where he will attend college, but he plans to study architecture.
Chris Bell has cheered for Republic for two years. Chris has a GPA of 3.7 and is a member of the A+ Program. He plans to attend Missouri State University and study business entrepreneurship.
Brendan Bice has cheered for Republic for two years. Brendan has a GPA of 3.6 and is a member of the National Honor Society, A+ Program, Future Business Leaders of America, and drama club. He plans to attend University of Mississippi for cheerleading and to study mass communication.
Sam Foshe has cheered for Republic for four years. Sam has a GPA of 3.3 and is a member of the A+ Program and also cheers competitively outside of school. She plans to attend Ozarks Technical Community College and Missouri State University and study early childhood education.
Autumn Garner has cheered for Republic for four years. Autumn has a GPA of 3.9 and is a member of the A+ Program, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, and the Republic track team. She plans to attend Missouri State University and study athletic training.
Shiane Moulds has cheered for Republic for one year. Shiane has a GPA of 3.2 and is a member of the A+ Program. She plans to attend Missouri State University and study medicine.
Emily Neal has cheered for Republic for one year as Republic’s tiger mascot. Emily has a GPA of 3.0 and is a member of the A+ Program, Future Business Leaders of America, and Republic’s cross country and track teams. She plans to attend Brigham Young University.
Gavin Sanders has cheered for Republic for one year. Gavin is undecided where he will attend college, but he plans to study computer science.
McKayla Simpson has cheered for Republic for three years. McKayla has a GPA of 3.2 and is a member of FCCLA. She plans to attend Cox College and study radiology.
Bre Sommer has cheered for Republic for four years. Bre has a GPA of 3.8 and is a member of the National Honor Society, A+ Program and is also on the yearbook staff. She plans to attend Missouri State University to study pediatric optometry.
Lindsey Stander has cheered for Republic for four years. Lindsey has a GPA of 4.3 and is a member of the National Honor Society and the A+ Program. She plans to attend Pitt State to study orthodontics.
Kristen Stockdale has cheered for Republic for four years. Kristen has a GPA of 3.9 and is a member of FCCLA and the A+ Program. She plans to attend Missouri State University and study psychology.
This group of seniors finished first in the Class 4 Co-Ed Large Division at the Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association state competition in November.
