Tigerette Seniors 2016
Megan Auman has danced for the Republic Tigerettes for four years and has danced competitively for 15 years. Megan has a GPA of 4.2 and is a member of the National Honor Society, A+ Program, and is on the yearbook staff. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas and study nursing.
Morgan Auman has danced for the Republic Tigerettes for four years and has danced competitively for 15 years. Morgan has a GPA of 3.9 and is a member of the National Honor Society, A+ Program, and is on the yearbook staff. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas and study business and dance.
Alexa Elliott has danced for the Republic Tigerettes for four years and has danced competitively for 11 years. Alexa has a GPA of 3.2 and is a member of the A+ Program. She is undecided where she will attend college, but plans to study psychology.
Makenna Garton has danced for the Republic Tigerettes for four years and has danced competitively for four years. Makenna has a GPA of 3.7 and is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and is on the yearbook staff. She plans to attend Missouri State University and study art and business entrepreneurship.
These seniors have helped carry on the tradition of the Republic Poms being one of the top dance squads in the state. This year, they were selected to dance at the Blue and Gold and the Tournament of Champions. They recently competed at the Sugar Bears Competition at Missouri State and will be heading to state competition in Kansas City this Friday. They will also be performing at half-time at a Drury basketball game this Thursday.
Girls Basketball Seniors 2016
Jordan Kabetske is a guard for the Lady Tigers and has played basketball at Republic for four years. She has a 3.8 GPA and is a member of the A+ Program. Jordan has signed with Missouri S&T to play basketball and she plans to study biology.
Alexis Ladwig is a guard for the Lady Tigers and has played basketball at Republic for four years. She has a 3.1 GPA and is a member of FCCLA and YES Club. Alexis plans to attend Missouri State University and study education.
Logan Flood is a guard for the Lady Tigers and has played basketball at Republic for four years. She has a 3.7 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society, A+ Program, and FCCLA. Logan plans to attend Missouri State University and study athletic training.
Brylee Argo is a forward for the Lady Tigers and has played basketball at Republic for four years. She has a 3.4 GPA and is a member of the A+ Program. Brylee plans to attend Missouri State University and study exercise and movement science.
Jade Sawyer is a guard for the Lady Tigers and has played basketball at Republic for four years. She has a 4.2 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and the A+ Program. She is also a member of Republic’s soccer team. Jade has signed with Webster University to play basketball and she plans to study biological sciences with an emphasis on health and medicine.
Brooke Stanfield is a forward for the Lady Tigers and has played basketball at Republic for four years. She has a 4.4 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society, A+ Program, and Key Club. She is also a member of Republic’s volleyball and track teams. Brooke has signed with Drury University to play basketball and run track and she plans to study biology and Spanish.
Carly Bayans is a forward for the Lady Tigers and has played basketball at Republic for four years. She has a 4.3 GPA and is a member of the A+ Program, National Honor Society, Key Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Carly is undecided where she attend college, but she plans to study nursing.
This group of seniors have lead the Lady Tigers to a 19-1 record and are currently ranked first in the state in Class 5. The last two years combined, this group has a record of 45-5. The Lady Tigers will start district play on Monday, February 29 at Joplin High School.
