The Lady Tigers golf team out-dueled Glendale and Central in a nine-hole match at Stewart Golf Course in Springfield Tuesday. Republic won the competition by 18 shots over Glendale, finishing with a 189 overall.
Five Lady Tigers finished in the top six. Katie Hamilton was the medalist with a 44. Caroline Blanford shot a 47–good for third place. Holly Casagrand finished fourth with a score of 48. Emma Blanford and Madi Beckham each shot a 50, tied for fifth.
Alexus Mitchell finished with a 56 and Madisyn Klossing finished with a 60.
Republic looks to continue the strong start to its season Thursday at Fremont Hills in the Ozark Tournament. Tee time is scheduled for 9:00 am.
