The junior varsity Lady Tigers pounded the rest of the field on the way to the championship at the Kickapoo JV Tournament Saturday. Republic opened their day with an 8-3 win over Lebanon. They knocked off Rolla 4-1, and ended with a 9-1 shellacking of Bolivar in the championship game.
Liv Collier had a huge day, winning all three games in the pitching circle. She also had a home run and three doubles at the plate.
Megan Thorne contributed four hits on the day, as well.
Republic’s JV Lady Tigers are 3-0 to start the season.
Liv Collier’s performance at the plate and in the pitching circle earned her Country Couture Player of the Day honors.
