The Republic baseball team was named one of the top academic teams in the state this season by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association. Team members compiled an average GPA of 3.35, ranking them among the best in the state in Class 5.
Three players were given academic all-state recognition. They were seniors Parker Nelson and Alex Reynolds, and junior Regan Butterworth.
