Pitcher Chandler Coates and infielder Regan Butterworth led four baseball Tigers who earned all-Central Ozark Conference honors as selected by the league’s coaches. Coates and Butterworth were 1st-team selections. Jansen McQuerter and Parker Nelson were all-COC 2nd team.
Coates was one of four pitchers named to the 1st team. He was the only Republic player to earn unanimous selection. Coates compiled a 1.50 earned run average, striking out 85 batters in 70 innings.
Butterworth played shortstop and hit .307 with a .395 on-base percentage. He scored 11 runs and drove in 17.
Nelson played second base and had a .386 on-base percentage. He also had two walk-off hits for the Tigers during the season.
McQuerter was 6-4 with three saves and a 1.98 earned run average.
