Republic junior Brooke Stanfield has been named to the Class 5 All-State basketball team by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.
Stanfield led the Lady Tigers with 12 points and five rebounds a game. She made 58% of her shots from the floor. Stanfield also played a big role in the Lady Tigers’ pressure defense with a team-leading 61 steals. She added 43 assists.
It’s not the first all-state recognition for Stanfield, who earned all-state honors in the high jump at the state track meet as a sophomore.
