Co-Player of the Year Stanfield Leads Republic Basketball Honors

Brooke Stanfield was named co-Player of the Year in the Central Ozark Conference, leading six Lady Tigers and Tigers who nabbed post-season basketball honors. Stanfield was also a unanimous selection to the All-COC first team. She averaged 12 points and six rebounds a game for the Lady Tigers. Stanfield shared the Player of the Year award with Nixa’s Toshua Leavitt.

Two other Lady Tigers joined Stanfield on the all-conference squad. Senior Michayla Shanks was named to the second team. Junior Jordan Kabetske received honorable mention.

Among the Central Ozark Conference boys, Brock Yocum was a unanimous selection to the all-COC first team. Yocum led the Tigers with 16.4 points a game, and also led the team in assists and steals.  Fellow Tiger Brady McGill was named 2nd-team all-conference. He averaged 11.7 points per game.

Three Tigers earned Class Five District 12 all-district honors: Yocum, McGill, and Tim Brazeal.  Kabetske, Shanks, and Stanfield were also named to the all-district team.
