Republic’s volleyball team continued its march toward the break-even point with two more wins this weekend at the Lebanon tournament. The Lady Tigers started the tournament with a two-set split with Lebanon in pool play, 25-21 17-25. They knocked off Francis Howell North 25-18 25-18. Then they beat Columbia Hickman 25-16 25-16.
In bracket play, the Lady Tigers lost in two sets to Hermann, 24-26 19-25.
After a 2-8-2 start, Republic is now 7-9-3. They’re back in action Monday night at Springfield Central.
