The Republic girls golf team finished near the middle of the pack at the Ozark Invitational Thursday. The Lady Tigers shot a total 417, tying for 8th out of 16 teams.
Republic was led by two golfers: Katie Hamilton and Caroline Blanford. They both shot a 99. Emma Blanford wasn’t far behind, with a 103.
Carthage took the team title with an overall total score of 347. Joplin finished second at 353, and Glendale was a distant third, at 375.
Glendale’s Sun Jung and Mount Vernon’s Ashley Childers tied for the individual championship. They both shot a 72.
