Brooke Stanfield and Ryan Way both broke records at the Central Ozark Conference track meet, leading a group of COC individual champions from Republic.
Stanfield ran the 200-meter dash in 26.27, winning the conference title and setting a record for the COC meet. She also won the 400-meter dash.
Way won the 1600-meter run by ten seconds over 2nd-place finisher Stephen Taylor of Nixa, setting a meet record with a time of 4:21.52. He also won the 3200-meter run with a time of 9:55.34. He beat runner-up Jesse Herd by 38 seconds.
Freshman Haven Lander won the COC championship in the pole vault. She cleared 10’3″ to edge out Nikki Buck of Nixa.
Way, Lander and Stanfield all earned all-COC honors.
