Republic’s Cody Geiger is the Missouri Class 4 Player of the Year as chosen by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. Geiger earned a place at the head of the association’s All-State team by leading the Tigers in scoring on their way to back-to-back state championships.
Senior guard Dylan Bekemeier also earned all-state recognition from the coaches.
Republic head coach Trevyor Fisher was named Class 4 Coach of the Year for the second year in a row, and has now won the award in both his seasons as a head coach.
In addition to all-state recognition, Geiger and Bekemeier were given all-district and all-conference honors, along with senior guard Canyon Smith. Geiger and Bekemeier were named to the All-COC 1st team, and Smith was named to the 2nd team. All three were named to the Class 4 District 11 All-District Team.
