Cody Geiger turned in his most dominating performance yet, scoring a career-high 28 points in limited play to lead Republic to a 77-47 win over Neosho on the road.
The Tigers jumped on top early, and it was clear from the start they intended to pound the ball inside. Geiger had 12 points in the 1st quarter, and when he sat down in the 2nd quarter, Dillen Ramsey picked up the slack, scoring eight points in the period.
Republic led 18-12 at halftime, but outscored the Wildcats 29-10 in the 2nd quarter to build a 47-22 lead at the break.
Geiger had 21 points at halftime, despite sitting out about five minutes. He played only about six minutes in the 2nd half before leaving the floor with 28 points.
Ramsey and Canyon Smith each scored 12 points for the Tigers, and Dakota Fortner had nine points on three treys.
Brock Yocum and Chase Hoffmann scored five points each, Jordan Kerr scored four, and Dylan Bekemier scored two.
Republic improves to 18-2 overall, and 3-0 in the Central Ozark Conference. The Tigers will be at home against Nixa Friday night.
