“I was just proud of our kids, their mentality, not taking anyone for granted,” says coach Trevyor Fisher. “Establishing on the defensive end, then getting the ball inside on the offensive end, and making some shots. I’m proud of our mindset going into the game, and then the guys coming in off the bench did a great job as well.”

Ten different players scored for Republic. In addition to the four players in double figures, Jordan Kerr had seven, Chase Hoffmann added six, Cole Hurst had four, and Brock Yocum, Dakota Fortner, and Dylan Bekemeier had three apiece.

Republic scored 27 points in each of the first two quarters, leading 27-9 after one, and 54-21 at halftime. It was 70-30 after three quarters.

Republic improves to 5-0. They play again Friday night in Waynesville at the Route 66 Shootout against state-ranked Hazelwood Central.
