2011: #3 seed Republic topples #1 Hillcrest to win the Gold Division of the Blue & Gold Tournament.
2012: #2 seed Republic topples #1 Parkview to win the Gold Division of the Blue & Gold Tournament.
2013: Defending state champion Republic gets the #2 seed for a second year in a row, again in the Gold Division, in this year’s Blue & Gold Tournament.
The Tigers will open up in the holiday tournament on the day after Christmas against Willow Springs, December 26 at 6:30 pm. Republic will play the second game of the evening session at JQH Arena, after Ava plays #7 seed West Plains. The winners of those two games will meet in the second round.
Nixa is the top seed in the Gold Division. Hillcrest is third, Bolivar is fourth, and Strafford is fifth. Hartville, West Plains, and Camdenton round out the top eight seeds.
Kickapoo is the top seed in the Blue Division, followed by Willard, Ozark, and Branson.
All games in Republic’s bracket will be played at JQH Arena. Games are scheduled for every day from December 26-28, with a day off on the 29th, and finals scheduled for Dec. 30.
