The Republic cross country team snagged five top-ten finishes in Neosho this weekend. The top Republic finisher was Ryan Way, who took 2nd place in the boys race. Philip Canfield finished 4th.
On the girls side, Madison Appleberry finished 3rd, Emily Griffith was 5th, and Sara Wilkes was 6th.
Laura Von Tiedmann, a foreign exchange student from Germany, ran her first race of the season and earned a medal.
