Brooke Stanfield broke two long-standing school records and won all four events she entered Thursday night at the Republic Relays. Stanfield ran the 400-meter dash in 58.91 seconds, shattering a mark that had stood since 1977, when Sharon Fees ran it in 59.8.
In the 200-meter dash, Stanfield finished in 25.70, breaking the 1986 mark of 25.75 held by Dorsey Wakeman.
Stanfield also won the 100-yard dash and the high jump, and was the highest individual point-earner of the night.
The Lady Tigers finished 2nd overall. The Republic boys finished 5th.

Megan Hergesheimer: 2nd in the 3200-meter run, 3rd in the 1600-meter run.
Sarah Kreul: 2nd in the shot put, 3rd in the discus.
Tristan Ellison: 2nd in the 100-meter dash.
Ryan Way: 2nd in the 1600-meter run.
Garrett Metscher: 1st in the long jump, 2nd in the triple jump, and 2nd in the high jump.
