Students from 8th grade through high school are eligible to join the Republic bowling team. The team competes through the Missouri Show Me High School Bowling program, with the first competition on March first. Bowlers will participate in eight competitions against other southwest Missouri high schools.
Ten Republic bowlers have joined so far, but coach Yvonne Clark says she’d like to see more students get involved.
The only expense for students is a $5 fee for a sanction card.
