The 7th and 8th grade Republic Lady Tigers both captured COC championships on Thursday night, and both did it by keeping their season records perfect, at 10-0.
In the 8th grade game, Madi Appleberry scored 13 points and Taylor Fergen chipped in with 10, as Republic beat Ozark 42-32.
The 7th grade team dominated their COC title game, thrashing Ozark 37-22.
The girls basketball teams for Republic, including the B teams in junior high, are now a combined 47-3. The 8th grade B team has suffered only one loss, at 6-1. The 7th grade B team is 5-2.
