Way 2nd and Hergeshiemer 4th at COC Meet

Ryan Way finished second in the large-school Central Ozark Conference cross-country meet Tuesday in Nixa. Way finished with a time of 16:03.20.  That was 17 seconds off the pace set by the winner, Kyler Haumann of Ozark.  Matt Petersen of Branson finished third, seven seconds behind Way.  Republic finished sixth overall on the boys’ side.

In the girls’ division, Megan Hergesheimer finished fourth, with a time of 19:23.40. She was behind winner Brigette Caruthers of Branson (18:30.50) and two runners from Willard, Bailey Hession (18:47.50) and Chloe Andrews (19:10.90).  Kayla Bartelsmeyer took 12th for Republic, with a time of 20:21.60.  The Republic girls took 5th place as a team.
