The Republic Lady Tigers struggled offensively for a second straight game, losing on the road to McDonald County 3-0.
Republic managed just two hits against the Lady Mustangs, one by Angel Serles and one by Taylor Gold.
Stephanie Eckhoff allowed three runs — just one earned — on eight hits for the Lady Tigers. She struck out four and walked one.
The game was a tune-up for the district tournament, where the Lady Tigers hope to meet McDonald County again. Republic enters the tournament with the #3 seed, and would not meet #1 seed McDonald County until the finals, if both teams get that far.
