Republic used 2-run outbursts in the 2nd and 3rd innings to get past Aurora on the road Wednesday, 5-3.
The Tigers broke on top 2-0 after an inning and a half, and they led 4-0 going into the bottom of the third behind starting pitcher Nathan Strobel.
Aurora scored one in the 3rd to cut the lead to three, and scored two more in the 5th to make the score 4-3. But Republic picked up an insurance run in the sixth, and made it stand up.
