Republic had a few athletes finish among the top competitors at the MSU Relays, one of the biggest high school track meets in Missouri. Thirty-two teams competed in the event.
Here are Republic’s top finishers:
Kavosha Edmunds finished 6th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.56.
Ryan Way finished 3rd in the 1600 meter run. He finished in 4:28.81. He also took 4th in the 3200 meter run, with a time of 10:05.99.
TJ Ray took 8th in the 400 meter dash, finishing in 53.35.
Garrett Metscher was 8th in the high jump, clearing 5’8″. He was 4th in the triple jump, with a distance of 42″5.5′.
