All three of Republic’s Special Olympics basketball teams have qualified for the state tournament. The teams competed in the regional tournament at Kansas City over the weekend.
The high school Flashdrive team picked up a gold medal, and so did the Lil Flashdrives 2. The third team, Lil Flashdrives 1, nabbed a silver. The top two teams in a division advance to the state tournament.
